Waiheke Island, only a short ferry ride from Auckland, in all it’s sunshine kissed magnificence set the scene for Kristy & Dan’s wedding day. The venue was The Pah, a graceful building overlooking Onetangi Bay. On the immaculate lawn, sun-shaded by a beautiful marque the elegantly decorated tables and chairs awaited the clamour of excited guests. Petite posies of lavender some placed in an eclectic mix of interesting bottles, some tied with old fashioned brown string and all filling the air with a heady aroma of summer graced tables and chairs. Small candles dotted thoughtfully about ready to twinkle as evening came . Quite spectacular and all the more special because it was all the work of the gorgeous Kristie, the beautiful bride, who’s talents it seems stretch well beyond picking out the handsome Dan to marry. Everything in it’s perfect place. Brava Kristy, you made wedding photography easy.
“It was a delight to have Chris at our wedding. Chris’s experience ensured a stress free day and he was really open and flexible throughout. Chris felt very much a part of our day and the reason we wanted him as our photographer was because we knew he would build instant rapport with our families and blend in as part of the day. It is also pretty talented!
Our wedding was a typical Kiwi ‘DIY’ wedding. I created everything myself to ensure we had the right look and feel given the surroundings and panoramic view of the ocean. Chris understood my style and I think brought that out in the images he has created for us. I thoroughly enjoyed creating my special day from scratch (with some help from the Groom) and Chris went above and beyond to share tips and ticks along the way which were invaluable!
Thank you Chris, our day will be forever in our hearts and it was great to have you there with us!” Kristie & Dan
